CREATING A CONTACT FOR AN EXISTING HOUSEHOLD
The process outlined in this document explains how to manually create a contact for an existing household using Salesforce. If you have identified the household contact as a potential lead, do not follow this process. Rather, you should enter the household contract via the interest form/web interface to trigger the automated workflow.
CREATE A NEW “ALTERNATE PROGRAM DELIVERY” HOUSEHOLD
This procedure illustrates how to create a new APD household in Salesforce. Since full parent/guardian information for girls participating in outreach programs is not always available, a standard parent/guardian household cannot be created. An outreach household takes the place of the parent/guardian household in such cases. Girls can be transferred to another household APD, or if the parental information is given at a later time, the girl can be transferred to a parent or guardian household as needed.

household contact as a potential lead, do not follow this process. Rather, you should enter the household
contact via the interest form/web interface to trigger the automated workflow.
This back-office process is for a “tag along” who is not a member, i.e. A person who may attend an event or program at a council. (Ex: A Cadet Troop 6-8th Grade event where family members are invited but
they must register in order to attend for housing, beds, slots, etc.).
