Troop leaders or Troop Treasurers must submit the annual Financial Report in the VTK (Volunteer Tool Kit) Financial tab, due June 30 EACH year to Troop Support for review. Complete (all pages) bank account statements for March, April and May are required to be submitted as part of the report. A brief description for unused funds below $1000 and a full report for funds in excess of $1000 with budget, dates, quotes from travel agent, cost of trip, etc. will be required. Community Treasurers must submit an Annual Financial Report Form and complete (all pages) bank account statements for March, April and May. If concerns are found, the report will be given to the Finance Dept., which will review the report for inconsistencies, and an audit may be required. If it is determined that there is a misuse of troop funds, legal action may be taken. Council will audit troop accounts on a regular basis.
ATM cash withdrawals are not approved in a troop setting.
