When a member transfers from one troop/group or position to another or to another council, the member does not re-register until her/his current membership expires at the beginning of the next membership year (September 30, every year). To transfer troops, the family can search within MyGS by clicking ‘Add/Change Troop’ under the girl’s name.
To move councils, please contact Customer Care and Contentment at (305) 253-4841 or email CustomerCare@girlscoutsfl.org. We will collect your information and submit the council transfer request. Generally the council transfer (which is handled at GSUSA) takes up to two weeks.
